National Young Scholars
Program (NYSP)
Nurturing Potential by Encouraging Natural Curiosity
Solving a crime. Building a bridge. Diagnosing a patient. These are just a few of the exciting and compelling projects that 3rd through 5th graders can choose in the National Young Scholars Program. In our 5- and 6-day programs held in locations across the country, high-achieving young scholars are encouraged to let their curiosity be their guide as they learn skills to motivate them in a diverse set of interests and careers.
- Young detectives test their mettle as they use chemistry, logic, and their investigative instincts to solve the Case of the Missing Masterpiece, a fun and challenging introduction to crime scene investigation and critical thinking.
- Future architects combine their creative and mechanical skills to help their firm win a multi-million dollar building contract. The Creative Construction simulation teaches young engineers about building and structural concepts while inspiring their vision.
- Aspiring doctors scrub up and start cutting in The Incredible Human Body, where tomorrow's physicians are introduced to anatomy, physiology, and biochemistry from the inside out. Students study major systems, learn about important reactions, and even suggest medical treatment.
NYSP is the ideal environment for talented and mature youngsters to explore a future in one of these exciting and rewarding fields. Rich in tools for personal development, improving study habits, and encouraging a child's inquisitive nature, the program seeks to spark a lifelong love of learning, an interest in science, and a desire to make the most of their lives.
Space in this program is limited and will be filled in the order in which students enroll, so enroll now or, for more detailed program information, visit our dedicated website at www.nationalyoungscholars.org today.
"Jordan learned a lot about leadership and enjoyed becoming a CSI for a week. He made new friends. It was definitely an experience that we are glad that our son was able to experience. The staff was very helpful and supportive for all the students needs and went the extra mile to make all the students feel comfortable and enjoy themselves."
